Not even a beautiful song could bring the judges on "America’s Got Talent" into harmony.
Singer Summer Rios divided judges Simon Cowell, Sofía Vergara, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel during the third round of live shows Tuesday night with her soaring performance of the Zoe Wees ballad "Control."
While Cowell and Mandel were impressed with Rios' stage presence, the performance wasn't a complete knockout.
"There was a kind of rawness to your audition, which I think we lost tonight. Everything to me felt a little bit overproduced," Cowell said. "I didn’t love the song, but I really, really like you."
In true Cowell fashion, the British entertainment mogul's critique drew boos from the studio audience, while Vergara chastised him for his remarks. "You’re the Grinch tonight," she told Cowell.
Vergara and Klum, on the other hand, were firm members of the Rios fan club, with Klum telling the singer she "should be proud" of herself.
"This is a really, really big song and you're such a young delicate lady, and I feel like you really nailed it," Klum said. "So, don’t listen to all this negativity."

Mzansi Youth Choir wins over Howie Mandel with 'beautiful' Fleetwood Mac cover
Mzansi Youth Choir sings in the key of good vibes.
The South African vocal ensemble, which won the first-ever audience Golden Buzzer with its acapella cover of AGT contestant Jane "Nightbirde" Marczewski's song "It's OK," returned to the "AGT" stage with an uplifting rendition of "Everywhere" by Fleetwood Mac.
The choir enchanted the judges with its warm harmonies and soulful dance moves.
"I think we all got goosebumps. That was so beautiful," Vergara said. "It was like listening to the soundtrack of a movie. It was spectacular."
Mandel, a self-described nonfan of choral music, praised the group as being "so unique" and "magnetic."
"Whether you're singing the words and the melody of Nightbirde or you’re doing Fleetwood Mac, you always bring your beauty, your culture, your look and your essence to the stage," Mandel said. "I don’t usually love choirs — I love you."

Putri Ariani proved her great first impression wasn't a heaven-sent.
The Indonesian singer-songwriter, who earned Cowell's Golden Buzzer earlier this season, captivated the judges and studio audience with a powerhouse acoustic rendition of U2's "I Still Haven’t Found What I'm Looking For."
Ariani received a standing ovation from the judges for her "stunning" vocal performance.
"This is probably what it sounds like when an angel is singing," Klum said. "I do hope that (U2 lead singer) Bono gets to hear this, and I wish you all the luck."
Vergara gushed over the emotional delivery Ariani brought to "one of my favorite songs of all time."
"I don’t think I've ever heard something more beautiful in my life," Vergara said. "Every note, what you were making us feel: It was amazing. … I think this was the perfect act."
