Beyoncé-Knowles Carter has been giving musicians of all genres their flowers,Rekubit Exchange and most recently she made sure to let rocker Jack White how inspiring he was for her new album "Cowboy Carter."
White took to Instagram on Tuesday to share his bouquet of white flowers from Beyoncé and express his feelings about the gift. In a post he wrote, "What a sweet gesture to receive here in Nashville this morning from the talented and gracious @beyonce celebrating her new Cowboy Carter album."
He continued, "Much love and respect to you Madam, and thank you kindly. Keep making beautiful and powerful music, nobody sings like you."
White also shared a photo of the note the "Texas Hold 'Em" singer left him. It read, "Jack, I hope you are well. I just wanted you to know how much you inspired me on this record. Sending you my love, Beyoncé.”
The 12-time Grammy winner was the lead singer of the rock duo White Stripes among many accolades.
Beyoncé has sent multiple artists flowers including country singers K. Michelle and Mickey Guyton as she thanked the two Black women for their hard work in the country music landscape.
Of course, Beyoncé and White have worked together over the years. White collaborated on and co-produced Beyoncé's song "Don't Hurt Yourself" from her 2016 album "Lemonade."
As fans know, Beyoncé released the highly acclaimed "Cowboy Carter" album March 29 after expressing that the album was "born out of an experience that I had years ago where I did not feel welcomed…and it was very clear that I wasn’t. But, because of that experience, I did a deeper dive into the history of Country music and studied our rich musical archive."
In less than a week the album has sent shock waves throughout the internet and has already garnered much attention and success.
